The Norton 5610K1 Door Closer provides ADA compliant, touchless access for interior, non-fire rated doors. Operate manually or using wall switches or radio frequency devices. Suitable for offices, classrooms and dorm rooms or touch free applications like public restrooms. Along with whisper quiet operation, this pull side mounted door closer comes packed with functions, such as Push and Go, Executive mode, adjustable hold open, open delay, overload safety shut off, and obstruction detection. Push and Go allows the door to sense movement and continue to automatically open the door, useful when pushing someone in a wheelchair or bringing in packages. In Executive mode, the door remains open after signal activation unless manually moved in closing direction, useful when large groups are entering or leaving the premises. You can set the door to “Hold Open” up to 30 seconds after an activation. You can also program in an open delay to pause opening for locking hardware or your access control system. The unit comes equipped with an Overload Safety Shut-Off where after 2 minutes of receiving a door activation signal, the inverter will time out and the door closes, preventing motor/inverter damage. The motor will also stop if the door is obstructed during opening, leaving the door resting against the obstruction.
