A division of ASSA ABLOY, one of the world’s most respected and long-standing manufacturers of security hardware, Securitron makes completing your access control system simple with this enhanced passive infrared motion detector.

Anyone approaching the door is quickly detected by the XMS2, which sends a signal to cut power to the maglocks, allowing safe and immediate egress. The XMS2 features an easily adjustable beam pattern and adjustable relock time, offering more control and versatility in various mounting positions around the door frame.

Unlike its predecessor, the XMS2 includes dual relay outputs—one for Request to Exit (REX) and another for Lock Control—allowing more flexible system integration.

To meet code, be sure to pair the XMS2 with a redundant emergency exit button, such as the EEB2 or EEB3N narrow stile model.

Ideal for indoor use, the XMS2 operates on 12–24 VDC and can withstand temperatures from 32°F to 120°F.
